On this Friday

--  I'm deciding which project(s) to take with me to The Sewing Summit.   I'll probably take both and then end up buying something new at the shop hop to start instead.  That's just how I roll.

--  And this weekend is my largest craft/art festival of the year.  I'll be glad to get the stacks of supplies/wares/soaps/scrubs out of my living room.  As will my family I'm sure.  Especially Licious who has had her room turned into a soap curing station for the last several months.

Finally, I'm debating just doing photo posts for the next several weeks.  And maybe turning off comments.  Between the travels, commitments, and regular autumn busy-ness it just seems like that would be more doable for me right now.  I wonder if I'd be diligent enough to post at least one photo a day for all of October?  That would be a dandy way to look at my life in October 2011.  Or maybe not.

Still debating.

Lol. It's not mandatory to reply to my comments. In fact, don't reply to this one. Don't do it! :)

In all seriousness, do what you have to do. Or skip one post a week for a while. We are also bloggers so we get it. Plus, we love your blog but if you go nuts trying to keep up and quit writing it, then we can't read it anymore do we selfishly want you to remain sane.

I repeat, do not reply.

Have a great craft/art festival! :)

Hi Dana,

Busy weeks ahead, huh? I haven't commented for a while, so I better take my chance while I still can. Hah!

I love your blog. It's true -- it's one of my favorite blogs in Blogland. No flattering -- just the truth. So, yes -- I am all for a photo each day. No need for words -- I know your time is limited.

I wish I could clog together with you guys. I miss it...

I wish I could look over your shoulder while you quilt. I just know I could learn so much from you.

Anyway, thanks also for taking the time to reply to my comments now and then -- so very much appreciated.

Maybe you want to check out my Oktoberfest giveaway (still open until October 2nd). It would be nice to welcome you back to my blog.

Greetings from Munich, Germany,
Birgit

Dana,

It was really great meeting you this weekend. I loved taking your class and loved (even more) winning that adorable sewing machine necklace!! What a thoughtful gift. Thanks.

I would love to try your soaps. They sounds wonderful. I'll have to get on your site and order some for Christmas gifts.
