No trip would be complete without a review. Even just a brief one offering merely a hint of what our week was like.
Similarly, no trip to the deep south would be complete without good southern food.
And views of the scenes and architecture that make Savannah, Georgia precisely what it is.
And, of course, like every spring break, a scene of my younger begging my older to please-oh-please-come-swim-in-the-pond-just-this-once-and-I-promise-to-never-pay-you-back-for-all-the-mean-tricks-you've-played-on-me-oh-please-just-come-in-the-pond-just-this-once?!?
But then being content to create her own pond-y fun.

On my bucket list, for sure: Savannah and Charleston!
Looks like you had a fabulous time! And that food, my goodness... I was in Georgia briefly when I was about 10. We drove from Saskatoon to Orlando, and back again. Georgia was one of my favourite places... Gall-dang it, Dana - now I want pie.
love Savannah although Charleston is my favorite. Looks like y'all had a wonderful time!
Savannah is on our list of must visit places in the US.
My daughter lived in Savannah for 5 years. We loved going there to visit and see the sights. Pretty stuff.
