A picture is worth a 1,000 words, right?

And so summer begins.

More photos than words for the next little bit. I'm trying to challenge myself to remember to capture the daily happenings around here.  I'm shooting for a photo a day for the month of June. . . er, starting June 4th.  Want to join me?  Leave me a link in your comment so I can follow your photo a day too.

I've been taking a picture a day this year. Just a little behind on posting them, but I have taken them. :)

My son has been asking for Battleship legos---maybe for Christmas I told him;)

How I miss those days of legos here, there, and most everywhere. Maybe I should go out and buy myself some and play for a bit? :D

Ack! A picture a day? I keep trying to get on that but...;) If the cat would "nag" me, it might help.

Thanks for the lovely picture. It brings back memories.

I do my photo a day on Instagram following Fat Mum Slim's prompts. It's fun.

Looking forward to seeing summer through your pictures!

I'm on my second year of picture-a-day and love catching all those "little" moments that I wouldn't otherwise photo. I post my pictures on Sundays at http://karamatdesigns.blogspot.com

When I first saw your picture, I thought the clear lego pieces were broken glass lol.

I could get into a picture a day but I'll post mine on Twitter.

DH had the big gotta-clean-out-the-garage flip-out a few weeks ago and asked me if we needed to keep the bin of Legos waaaaaaay up on the top of the cabinet waaaaaaay in the corner. "Um, yeahhhh!" I said, "Those are J's and I'm sure he wants them!" (J is my 30 y.o.!) Sure enough, I called him and, yes, in fact, he DOES want them! Gee whiz, Dad...get a grip, the garage can wait another little bit, we've lived there 14 years, what's a few more weeks matter, huh???...sheesh... =-)

I would love to join you, but I left my stinkin' camera in my in-laws' hotel room in NYC. I have to wait till they mail it back to me. :( Not too sad, though, because the trip into the city was to see Phantom on Broadway. Can't complain. I see Legos all over my house all the time too. Love it!
