This girl

My youngest daughter, Licious, wrote this when she was nine.  She has another one that she now sings about Scout that goes to the tune of the Star Spangled Banner.  She's creative.  She's got a beautiful singing voice.  She loves her dog.  And I adore her.  Tonight the older one, Boo, is going to a friend's house for a sleepover.  It will just be Razor, Licious and I.  I'll bet a new song in created.  And I bet it includes Scout.

I love looking back on the things the kids did and said and wrote. I especially love the stories they wrote in their first couple of years at school or the cards they made. I'm also loving that my daughter now wants to sit and sew - seems like there is to be another quilter at my house. Those memories you have of your girls are priceless and I'll be they get a giggle when they are in their 20s or 30s and you share them with them.
