In the quilting department

This is what I made to add to Valerie's quilt for Circle 7.  She had said she wanted pinks, blues and yellows, patchwork, pieced words, and things that made her think of her family and home.  Now I will send this on to the next person to work on.

And I'm going to make this by quilt by traceyjay quilts soon.  I've ordered the templates and just need to pick fabric.  Anyone else made it?  Got any tips or advice to share?

That "home" block is super cute. I can't believe your girls were at the Campbell Folk School. I used to get their "catalog" in the mail each year and drool over the week long classes.

Such a darling block you created that made me smile after coming home after a long day at a horse show. What a lucky person who will get that block.

No clue about the one you are going to work on next. Can't wait to see what it will look like with your fabric picks and it all done, washed, and ready to use.

Have fun!

Measure and trim your center square to match your star point units... that will help getting perfect points. :)
