Northern Migration Quilt





Flying geese blocks and a single star.  I'm calling it Northern Migration and plan on giving it to a special little person soon.

I like how the star block reminds me of a compass rose. Oh how my fingers are itching to sew! Just have to find my sewing table this weekend underneath the piles of my husband's clean laundry.

Looks great! Love your star block - and all the geese! funny I always think of Southern migration - especially this time of year, we see all the geese and ducks flying in formation - south for the winter.
