Mine too! The house is so cozy and the landscape so peaceful and beautiful. Perfect for baking, sewing, binge watching Lifetime movies, etc. Enjoy!
Snow days are so very perfect! Enjoy!!!
ah, so lovely. i immediately think of slippers and stove-made popcorn...
looks really nice. Our snow is all gone :(
Ohhhh, what I'd give for a few snow days! Alas, overcast days are about the closest we get here, unless we're really lucky and get a rainy one. Fingers crossed for that on Sunday and Monday! Love your photo!
I just found your Double Irish chain Quilt with fat quarters and have a question. You start by cutting 20 into 2.5x22 inch strips. Fat quarters don't measure 22 inches. 18x21 is the usual. Won't this screw me up? Thanks!
Hi Judy (see comment above) -- The standard size for a fat quarter of fabric is 18" x 22". If yours are cut at 21" I suggest making a few sample blocks to make sure the fabric requirements will be met. Irish Chain quilts are so striking and I'm happy to hear you are making one! -dana
