Living with teenagers

Teenagers. I've got two of them. They are busy. And dramatic. And in an ongoing power struggle with each other (or is it with themselves?)  And distracted. And, often times, frustrating.

Optimistic. Energetic. Ambitious. Hilarious. Hungry! Adaptable. Curious. Intelligent. Willing to try and fail. And try again.

And mercurial.  For I write this on a morning filled more with paragraph one, knowing paragraph two is just moments away.

Mine are 17 and soon to be 12. Does that count for two teenagers? At least it feels like they are both teens some days. Oy! Then they surprise me by being quiet while hanging out with each other for hours on end and all you hear every few moments is laughter. : )

Ok, so it's been FOREVER since I've stopped by your blog. Because the last time I was here, you did not have teenagers...you had little girls...And I honestly can't believe that you are now calling your girls teenagers! Because when we first met in this crazy blogosphere, they were just little girls...and now...they're teenagers! Oh boy! How time flies! But anyways...it's so nice to stop by again, and to kinda keep up with each other in the Instagram world still. :) Hope you're well friend!

Don't you just love parenting teenagers? It's the best. Wish mine could stay there a little longer. But alas, he thinks he must graduate in 2 months and move on to college less than 5! WAH!
