32 pounds of soap baby!

Today I've made 32 pounds of soap. Once cut into bars that will be about 100 bars of soap. Add that to the 16 pounds I made yesterday and 24 pounds I made the day before that and we are talking 72 pounds of soap this week. That is over 250 bars.

It's a shame my family never bathes.

I kid.** Don't worry I kid. Surely I kid.

** But I won't be kidding after our camping trip this weekend. Whew! Pass the soap!

that's alot of soap! must be sort of like when i dye about 40 yards of fabric...takes days...but i love the results. next thursday am having my first dye class here at the house. i know i still need alot of basic stuff but will get by. amazing how much stuff you collect over 20 years dyeing...and mark made me leave it all behind. he never did buy me new dyes...

One of our projects in high school science was to make soap from lye and cooking fat. Even with the crude basics, it was fun. Your soap looks really, really yummy. In a soapy sort of way. Well done!

Wow, that is so awesome! I'd love to learn to make my own soap. I prefer using natural soaps, but they can be a bit pricey to buy.

That makes a pretty picture. I've never seen soap still in the molds.
Have fun camping.

If you have not tried the "Man Soap", you should, and if you don't, that is ok, because that means more for me! Joking aside...it is total yummy. Can we get a "Man Soap" sugar scrub? Hint.Hint.
