I co-lead a troop of 2nd grade brownies. Oh boy, lots of energy! The horses I rent and ride from my Aunt's stable spend their summers (when it is too hot to be a rental horse) in the mountains at a girl scout camp.
Wow, you guys are certainly busy this summer! So wonderful for your little girl. We just finished up Vacation Bible School which was a first for my son and for me (as a voluteer) - tons of fun!
i loved being a brownie and then a girl scout. unlike the boy scouts, we always slept under the stars...probably cause we didnt have any tents or other neat stuff the boy scouts had a plenty. fond memories....

Oh, and I just love the "sounds of nature" as we discuss CAMP! How fitting!

I can't wait until next year, I'll send my daughter to GSC for the first time! I know she's looking forward to it!
