Win a Janome 6600 NOW

TIME'S UP. WINNER OF THE JANOME 6600 SEWING MACHINE WILL BE ANNOUNCED TOMORROW. GOOD LUCK TO EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU.

So this is it. The moment you all have been waiting for. I'd like to think that the quilt along and all the giveaways along the way have been fun. And educational. And worthwhile. But let's face it. They don't mean squat in comparison to this.

I know things people. I've been to college. And around the block a time or two.

I've got my finger on the pulse of the human spirit.

You have been waiting for the mac daddy. And today is the day.

Leave a comment to this post for your chance to win the miraculous Janome 6600.

It is fantastically amazing. I love it so much that I missed it while on vacation. For real.

Some of my favorite features are:

-- the independent motor for bobbin winding
-- speed control lever
-- the start/stop button
-- the almighty automatic thread cutter!!! (can't I get a Amen on that one?)
-- extra high pressure foot lift
-- knee lift!!

Oh. I. Could. Go. On. For. Days.

What? You don't want me to go on for days? Hmmm.

Ok. Well, let me just summarize by saying that I love the Janome 6600 because it allows me to make quilts with absolute ease. Like this.

::Deep cleansing breath::

Leave a comment to this post for a chance to win the Janome 6600. Only one comment per person. International entries welcome. Contest will run from now (June 29, 2009) until next Monday, July 6, 2009 at 6:00pm EDST US. A winner will be announced on Tuesday, July 7th.

Good luck!

Wow, already 800 comments and it's only the second day. Hmmm...my chances are not great. But it would be so nice to win a new sewing machine. Mine is about 12 years only and VERY basic! Thanks for the great give-away.

Get your finger off my pulse, girl! You know what I want. I want the Mac Daddy of all giveaways. This has been so fun. And yes, educational. And fun. And your quilt is beautiful. Let's see if mine turns out beautifully too when I finish it (hee hee).

Dear Dana

I would love a chance to win this fabulous machine. I participated in the quiltalong and posted pics on flickr of my strawberry quilt. I have to quilt it but am still working on that. Really enjoyed the community of quilters that you gathered around Dana. Its been inspiring and encouraging. The tutorials have been great - clear and humourous. Thanks for everything

I never win. I don't have my own blog. But if I won this, I would give my current Janome to my DIL, who wants to sew. I really would love for her to sew with me. No one else does. She wants to make quilt like I do! That is so awesome.

Please pick me! You'll be giving 2 people a sewing machine and tons of good memories!

Well, I happen to be very unlucky when it comes to blind chance, but I'm going to go for it anyway - this would be a pretty major improvement over my bargain basement Singer! Thanks so much for the opportunity.

I've never won anything in my life! I'm currently sewing/quilting on a Sears Kenmore machine from the late 60's that my parents purchased 2nd hand for me in 1983 as a birthday gift. The buttonholer hasn't worked for years but it stiches just fine. I would love to have a new machine but #1 It's not a priority financially and #2 I don't begin to know what to look for/look at in a new machine.
Thank you for your generosity to the lucky winner!

I am entering to win this amazing sewing machine for my mother. My mother broke her leg in 2006 and after numerous surgeries is still not fully rehabilitated and suffers constant pain. However, since my mother is superwoman she continues to work, be a devoted wife and an amazing mother, regardless of the pain.

One of the few things that have been able to take her mind of the pain has been creating amazing quilts. She has gotten so into quilting that my bedroom at my parent's house has been transformed into her quilting room!!!! Furthermore, she is also an avid reader of this blog and every week she sends me pictures of the progress she has made doing the quilt alongs.

I would love to be able to present my mother with such an amazing machine, which would allow her to take her quilting to the next level.

Thanks for hosting this great quilt-a-long and giveaway Dana.

I've been having fun reading the posts and viewing the photos on the flickr group.

Fingers crossed!

You basically put out a silver platter explaining so beautifully how to make my dream of making a quilt actually come true. In turn you have also created a monster. I have plans in the works for three more.
Thank you, thank you, thank you. This skill is a prize all in itself.
