Win a Janome 6600 NOW

TIME'S UP. WINNER OF THE JANOME 6600 SEWING MACHINE WILL BE ANNOUNCED TOMORROW. GOOD LUCK TO EACH AND EVERYONE OF YOU.

So this is it. The moment you all have been waiting for. I'd like to think that the quilt along and all the giveaways along the way have been fun. And educational. And worthwhile. But let's face it. They don't mean squat in comparison to this.

I know things people. I've been to college. And around the block a time or two.

I've got my finger on the pulse of the human spirit.

You have been waiting for the mac daddy. And today is the day.

Leave a comment to this post for your chance to win the miraculous Janome 6600.

It is fantastically amazing. I love it so much that I missed it while on vacation. For real.

Some of my favorite features are:

-- the independent motor for bobbin winding
-- speed control lever
-- the start/stop button
-- the almighty automatic thread cutter!!! (can't I get a Amen on that one?)
-- extra high pressure foot lift
-- knee lift!!

Oh. I. Could. Go. On. For. Days.

What? You don't want me to go on for days? Hmmm.

Ok. Well, let me just summarize by saying that I love the Janome 6600 because it allows me to make quilts with absolute ease. Like this.

::Deep cleansing breath::

Leave a comment to this post for a chance to win the Janome 6600. Only one comment per person. International entries welcome. Contest will run from now (June 29, 2009) until next Monday, July 6, 2009 at 6:00pm EDST US. A winner will be announced on Tuesday, July 7th.

Good luck!

I love to quilt and sew. I'm teaching my step daughters how to sew simple things and starting to quilt this summer. My son wants to do things and my husband loves the fact that I sew! I have sewn for so long with my late grandmother and mom. My mom and grandma each have/had a Janome. I follow Janome on facebook, and am really interested in you on the internet too. Thanks for being positive and innovative!! It's the joy of sewing! Hugs!

CPAQuilter said...

I've been looking for a new sewing machine to replace my 35-year old Kenmore that has sewn many beautiful things since I got it as a present while in high school. Sadly, it's days are numbered, and since most of my sewing these days is on quilts or quilt-related items, I've been looking at the machines that are designed for this purpose - the Janome 6600 is most definitely in that category, but is out of my budgetary range. It would be given a good and loving home.

Happy stitching to whoever is the lucky winner.

HELLO- this comment is not left on my behalf but on behalf of my sister- see GAIL SASO of Crafty little Beana swears she is not a good teacher but she taught me how to sew and opened a whole new world for me- then in 2005 I had my son Carter that has Angelman syndrom- GAIL is the only ONE that gets it- and with out her Carter would not have many of the things he needed to surrvive- like altered sheets that held hm upright so he would not choke on his reflux. GAIL has also made sure this 70lb 4 year old has age appropriate clothes that fit his very round belly- without her we would be in a world of trouble- the trouble for GAIL is that she is doing all of this on a sewing machine that my whole family went in on for her birthday about 10 years ago- it is an old singer that only cost $220- GAIL is incedibly generous and is always making things for people to help better their lives- PLEASE consider her for the machine- thank you- NEALIE- nealepete@yahoo.com

I LOVE to sew. I own a Janome sewing maching and a serger. I have also always wanted to own an embroidery machine. The possibilities of what you can make with an embroidery machine boggles my mind. I see all the neat things that are advertised on this web site and keep wishing that I could do them too.

I have been out of work for the past 2-1/2 years on disability and, therefore, do not have the finances available to purchase a new machine at the moment. I am trying to do a little sewing to help make ends meet.

Owning a new embroidery machine would really make my day!!! :)

My word, I can't even imagine winning a sewing machine. Much less what my husband would say if I won one.

Best wishes to who ever wins and I hope it really makes you happy....tickled....and thrilled :)

I'm taking my chances, adding my name, and crossing my fingers. Thanks for all your organization with the quilt along, I am still not done, but I did get further than I thought, and something to keep working on.
