Truman & Harpo till the end

I've told you about Truman before. He's a little beat up but the sweetest little (well, ok, BIG) thing you ever did meet.

And Harpo loves him to death.

Truman and Harpo will be buds until the end.

Or at least until Truman is tired of being licked and slobbered and jumped on. And bitten. And pulled. And breathed on.

I am soooooo with you Truman.

Aww, they are so precious!
I had a german shepard years ago that loved kittens. There was a Mama cat in our neighborhood that kept having litters and we would take care of her kittens until we finally caught her and had her spayed and put up for adoption.
Anyway, her kittens acted like my dog was thier Mommy. It was so stinkin cute the way they followed her around and slept in piles on top of her:-)

we had a cat when we got our puppy and they were buddies. When we had to put the cat down due to illness the dog went through a time of depression and even now when she sees a cat I think she's broken hearted when they run away from her

Cute. You have to love the way they show affection.

My dog likes to bark at neighborhood cats but when she gets within pouncing distance she chickens out and stays 3 feet back. She's smart =) Those cats are bigger than her!

WOW, the kitty's eyes are amazing! What character he has and to be loved by a dog! What else is there?

Great photos as always. Great story as always. If I promise to help around the house and garden, can I move in?

that is one gorgeous cat you've got there, dana! and patient, geez. i've got some pretty cats too, but they hide all day because they've never forgiven us for having loud, obnoxious children. can't even imagine if we got two dogs!!! as if i don't have enough drama!
