are you still using that artisan bread book? Is this recipe from in there? I'd like to make my own bread bowls but tried a recipe I found on line and it was a flop...I've often thought about getting that book since you posted about it but have never gotten around to it :)
Looks good! I always make a version of minestrone soup for Christmas dinner with bread and salad because we are all still full from a big meal on Christmas Eve (not to mention other meals and goodies, including a Christmas Day brunch). My children dubbed it "Joanie Minestrone" when they were younger. What can I say, I'm honored that they named my soup after me :)
