Tradition




It was Minestrone. Just like last year. But with homemade bread bowls.

are you still using that artisan bread book?
Is this recipe from in there?
I'd like to make my own bread bowls but tried a recipe I found on line and it was a flop...I've often thought about getting that book since you posted about it but have never gotten around to it :)

Looks good! I always make a version of minestrone soup for Christmas dinner with bread and salad because we are all still full from a big meal on Christmas Eve (not to mention other meals and goodies, including a Christmas Day brunch). My children dubbed it "Joanie Minestrone" when they were younger. What can I say, I'm honored that they named my soup after me :)
