Signs

There are signs all around.

But I dare not utter the word.

Nope. I won't even think it.

There is a chance for snow this evening after all.

P.S. Thanks for all the well wishes the other day. I'm starting to feel more and more like myself. I won't say "normal". My family would protest the use of the word to describe me.

Dana,

I have my fingers crossed but we too are expecting more snow. At least you have some signs that there is life after winter. None here -- yet.

Love your blog. I will be returning.

I love the first signs of spring! I am seeing small signs here too.

I'm glad you are starting to feel better!

I don't think my family would describe me as normal either :)
Would you want to be described as normal? :)

We have subtle signs here too, but it's still too early to plant some crops. Glad you're feeling better :)

We're expecting snow too and it makes me want to stab things. I must go look around my backyard for signs so I can make it through this winter!

Well here in NY we had another foot of snow last night, no power for he last 13 hours, tree branches down every where and another foot coming! But I do hear the bird songs changing to their Spring tunes.
I'm ever hopeful!

Love those fat bulbs pushing up! Do you have your garden planned yet?

Happy Sewing

Daffodils and cherry blossoms here in Portland, OR! So sorry for those of you still stuck in the snow.
I am looking forward to Spring, whenever it arrives..

Normal is for suckers.

No signs here yet. But then, in Saskatchewan, I've seen snow in August and worn shorts in January. Anything is possible if you wait 15 minutes....

Don't tell me you have daffodil bulbs peaking up already! And do I see buds on the trees too? Our yard is still covered in over a foot of snow, yet I'm dying to see our bulbs come up and the trees come back to life. I'm so jealous!

No signs here yet -- and more snow to come...

Then again I so enjoy seeing YOUR first signs of spring. See -- I dared to say it out loud. SPRING! :)
