Alright so I am going to go against everyone. The first with the color is really pretty, but with so much pop of green and pink I feel like your eyes are drawn to the landscape before you ever look at the adorable baby. In the vintage color I feel like I look at her first.
I like the first one too Dana - the fresh, crisp, colours with that adorable wee face are perfect - it speaks of spring and innocence to me.
I love the effect of toning down the colours though, we've just had some family photos done and I got them to tone them down a bit because Gus and I are little palies compared my DP and Ollie! tehehe Wish you were NZ based! I'm having a horrible time finding a photographer I like :( I blame it on you and your pretty photos heheh
Not that I ever like going with the majority :)) hehehe....but the first one really is stunning with it's bright colors....great photo, with the perfect model :)
I was going to suggest putting baby in #1 on #2 background, but I can see that several ladies beat me to it. They are both beautiful. The first one my eye was drawn to the flowers first over the baby, because of the bold color so if it was my baby I would pick the second to hang on my wall.
I love the colors in the first one so I'm voting for it.Although I agree that the baby from the first pic would look great on the second background. Super cute picture either way though.
I would vote for the second one. There is a timeless quality to it, especially since the little girl is wearing plain clothing. This photo could have been taken twenty or more years ago. A classic for sure.
because of the light coloured hair and the light coloured clothing, the second picture makes the girl completely washed out, whereas the first one brings out her colour. the background colours are fantastic in either picture - but everyone seems to focus on the girl. so if you're wanting to "promote" the girl then the first picture has to be the one; if you want the background scenery to be the focus - well then you've captured it really well in both pictures.
i personally prefer the first one BECAUSE of the 'life' it brings to the girl.
while I'm a huge fan of the muted coloring or vintage look of #2, I'd have to say my vote is for the full color photo #1 because the baby is after all the focal point and she's too bland in the latter.
I love bright colors as much as the next person, but the child's expression seems to make the second one more appropriate. I suppose it's all in the mood you're going for--vintage and nostalgia or summery?
You probably don't need any more input, Dana, but here I am nonetheless...
At first I wanted to say # 1, but, frankly, the topic of your photo is most likely the toddler, isn't it? The girl stands out in # 2 when the color doesn't divert the attention.
My thought -- # 1 if you want to talk about spring and starting a new life, # 2 if you want the girl to be the center of the photo.

I love the first one! Those brighter colors bring out the colors in her dress and her skin. Cute!
My vote is for the top one too. It has more pop. In the second one, the sweet little girl just blends in too much.
First one, it immediately drew my eye, love the colours. Without a doubt!
Another vote for #1 :)
I agree with the others of the first photo. I am all about colors.
Yep, much as I *adore* the desaturated second one ( so pretty!) you see baby better in the first.
I agree, I like the first one. The green is just so vibrant.
I also vote for the first one, what a doll!

If I hadn't seen the first one I would say the 2nd one. But after seeing the first one, she looks a little pale in the 2nd one. My vote is for #1
#1 is my vote! The clothes work better in it. And I love the bright green of the grass!
I love the 2nd photo much better.
I'm with everyone else. My heart was touched the second I saw #1. So sweet and so pretty.
I prefer the second one. It is much softer and I see the baby more than the flowers.
the first photo
I like number 2 IF you add some little bit of pink to her outfit...
I too vote for the top one with the brighter grass.
I like the first one better too. I love the look of the second one but I love the vibrant colour better :)
The first, I like the colors
I like the 1st one!
I like the vibrant colors of the first one!
numero deux sil vous plait
Ha ha!I'm not french I'm just crazy like that!
2 please :)
Love the background processing on number 2, and think it would be killer if you could put the girl from #1 into the background of #2.
So I'm kind of voting for both.
Wasn't that helpful? :)
I'm with April. I'm voting for the sweet baby in #1 on the background of #2. Is that possible??
I prefer the first one. I don't think the second one has much punch. Have you tried adding her in full color to the desaturated background?
My eye goes to the top one, great colors!
She's adorable! I like the first one best.
Both are gorgeous and I especially like the bright-colored one. You are such an artist!!
They are both gorgeous, but I prefer the more saturated color one. Lovely!
the first! what a sweet little girl.
#1 - hands down, no conteset. The second one makes the baby look flat and grey.
Laura
I love the colorful one! What a great picture!
I like the first one better! So cute!
I like the first one - the green grass sets it off!!
The first one! The colors are so perfect together.
The second one. Better by a mile. You'll have no clearer answer at the end of all these comments!
I like the first one. The colors are great!
first one! love the colors.
I vote for the full color version. What a sweet baby girl!
Number 1 :)
I prefer the first one, so full of colours!!
Top one, the colorful one. :D
Both are beautiful, but the top one is my fav...Love the bright vivid colors :)
I like the one with the brighter colors but the other one may be more appealing in real life rather than on my computer monitor!
first one, a little girl should always look rosie.
She looks sad and dull in the second pic.
I like the second! I guess I'm in the minority...
Either, on its own, is gorgeous. But, I do like the top one...it the colors pop.
I like the first one too. :)
What a cutie!
The top one definitely.
The washed out/desaturated look is nice for some shots... but this shot specifically is really best in those vivid colors.
Well done!
I like the first one too Dana - the fresh, crisp, colours with that adorable wee face are perfect - it speaks of spring and innocence to me.

top one.
#1 I love the colors!
I like the top one. She is really cute.
The first one, full colour, full impact and full of love!
First one, for sure!
i love the first one, but i may not count as i have an inexplicable aversion to pastels.
Full color -- without a doubt!
The first one.
first one but I might like the second one better in black and white with the only color being the pink flowers??????
The first one. What a great picture. The baby looks washed out in the second one.
They both are great, but I love how the colors pop on the first one. Such a cute little subject you have there, too!

First one, I feel like you can see her better.
Very pretty.
Not that I ever like going with the majority :)) hehehe....but the first one really is stunning with it's bright colors....great photo, with the perfect model :)

I like the top one
First one gets my vote - I love seeing the pink skin tones.
No contest - the FIRST one with the COLOR. :)
Love from Texas! ~bonnie
# 2 :)
Hmmm, I'll go out on a limb here and say... the first one.
You know, in case you still need input.
I am definitely for #2. I love the muted colors and I think your eye goes to the baby rather than to the colors in the landscape.
I love the colors in the first one so I'm voting for it.Although I agree that the baby from the first pic would look great on the second background. Super cute picture either way though.
As much as I like the vintage-y feel of the second, I'm going to have to say the first one :)
The brighter colors are better and have more contrast with the wee one. I vote for the first.
I like #1 :) Such a little cutie!
Full color. Nice picture!
#1 is my fave!
I'm thinkin' #1...cause it's so vibrant. The little girl is adorable!
Jen
First. Let us know the results.
Oh Oh Oh choices, I love the first second one Dana, has a gentle subtle look..
hugs Dawn x x x
The first one. Love the contrast.
First one. The bright pop of colour - it's perfect.
First one :)
I would vote for the second one. There is a timeless quality to it, especially since the little girl is wearing plain clothing. This photo could have been taken twenty or more years ago. A classic for sure.
I'm going to have to go with the first one. I think the skin tone looks better and the colors are so pretty.
The bright one. Good job.

I like the first one with the more vivid colors. She is adorable. Absolutely adorable.
first one, won't date as quickly either. odds are you'll look at the processing 10 years down the track and say what was i thinking.
First One :) Cute pictures!!
The first one is a show stopper...should be on a greeting card!!
The former. The intense green and pink background makes the pale pink cutie shine!
while I'm a huge fan of the muted coloring or vintage look of #2, I'd have to say my vote is for the full color photo #1 because the baby is after all the focal point and she's too bland in the latter.
I like the first one, too, Little girls need to be colorful!
I love the colors in the first one. The little girl looks a little washed out in the second one. JMHO
Both are lovely, but I like the first one. The colors POP & the sweet Miss seems to stand out more in #1.
Definitely the first one. It just catches the eye. The second is pretty, but a little washed out.
#1
The first one! The colors are so rich and wonderful. I have a hard time imagining children and petunias to be anything other than vivid and colorful.
I love the color :)
Overall I like the first one better! The second one is a little More "artsy"!!
I love color! And I remember the faded photos of the 70s and 80s so I do not like that look. Much prefer the sharp colors.
I love bright colors as much as the next person, but the child's expression seems to make the second one more appropriate. I suppose it's all in the mood you're going for--vintage and nostalgia or summery?
totally the first one Dana!
I like the 1st

#1 - the gorgeous baby fades away in the 2nd one
