Quilt reflective of the season

It is interesting how the fabrics I choose to work with change with the seasons.  Do you do that too?

so pretty. It looks like stained glass. What fabric is this?

I would definitely agree on the seasons affecting color/fabric choice! What do you think your sashing color would've been had you been making this in the spring? Just wondering...

My colors change with the seasons also. Your quilt is beautiful. I love the way the black sets off the reds and greens.

That is so beautiful. I love the colors, the black, the pattern. Justnlove it. I have not been quilting long enough to go through to many seasons but I can tell already that I will be a seasonal quilter.

Love the quilt--the black really makes the colors pop out. I have been forcing myself to change colors lately and fortunately enjoying most of them.

It's beautiful...love the light shining through. I do the opposite-- it seems I am always sewing like 2 seasons ahead. Right now everything is Spring that I'm working on. It kind of bugs me...I want to be working on something Fallish...don't know why I'm not lol!!

Yep, moods and weather affect what I sew :) (I've been know to pack a whole project away because it was seriously making me depressed! Honestly true)
