Easy as

I knew it was good when my youngest daughter pronounced it the best pie she ever ate.  High praise from a non-pie lover.

P.S.  How could you not love pie?

P.P.S.  I love fruit pie.

P.P.S.S.  In fact, I do believe I love pie more than cake.

P.P.P.S.  That is saying something cause I really like cake.

P.P.P.S.S.  Just ask my brother.

I will be in trouble with the hubs if I ever try to give him birthday cake - he just wants birthday pie! We're in trouble now though - he just got a whip cream maker, so now we have delicious whip cream at the ready all of the time!

Its rhubarb season already. How I wish I can get those here in Malaysia. I still remember mom baking those pies when we were in the States in the early 80's.

I have a very special place in my heart for rhubarb pie. I think I may have to make it a point to bake one this weekend!! Thanks! (I mean that sincerely--one of my first memories is of sitting at a picnic table on my great uncle's farm, eating rhubarb pie!)

Fabulous looking pie! Glad your non-pie-eater loved it. Do you know I have never eaten strawberry rhubarb pie. Just can't get over cooking the strawberries I guess!

My husband LOVES strawberry rhubarb pie. It's his fav. He grew up in Nebraska, where rhubarb grows just fine. Doesn't do so well in Texas. :(

I love pie more, too. . . I think it is because I don't love frosting:).

Yummy!

Gained 5 pounds from all the virtual eating of that pie. Yummy! My Nana used to make strawberry rubarb. so good.

That looks SO fantastic! So? Would you be willing to share the recipe with us? I'm sure you've got a lot of readers that are hoping that someone will ask. :-)

I second that recipe request! Please. I think I can hunt down some rubarb. Alas, it just does not like the hot, windy, NM summers so I have to buy it at the grocery store and that's just wrong. BUt, it's a small price to pay to see my hubby's eyes twinkle. Pie does that. Grin.

I love Strawberry Rhubarb pie. Unfortunately, no one else in my house will eat it, so I don't make it. Can I come over for a slice? :)
