Prework, Plans & Possiblities

Started a new quilt yesterday.

Have plans for this stack of pinks.

And it may be time to sell some quilts.  Like the one above.  And probably a scrappy patchwork quilt too.

After the quilt giveaway to raise money for tornado relief in Joplin, MO I've gotten dozens and dozens of emails asking when I'm going to start selling some quilts here like I hinted at awhile back.  Um . . . I guess I just haven't yet because I feel weird/pushy/obnoxious/insecure.  Like, what if I put them for sale and then they never sold.  Ack!  I'd feel like a total dork.

Anyway.  Since it hasn't rained in forever and it doesn't seem to be in the forecast, I'll get some photos taken, info. written and post them here for sale soon.

Peace out.

P.S.  Do graphic design work for bloggers?  Can you help me spruce up my blog?  I've got some ideas just don't know how to execute them.  If you are able and want to be paid, please let me know.

I'm having a blast with my etsy shop(s!) Such a great way to get the word out... blog it, facebook it, and list it!

Love the first combo of fabrics by the way! Can't wait to see what becomes of them!

Have a great day, Kimberly

First of all, I have sold 2 quilts and are no where near your level! So of course your stuff will sell!
Also, my sis-in-law does awesome stuff. I'll send her to your site, see if she has time to help! :)

Look forward to seeing what you make this time!

I know your quilts will sell. I know it's hard to put yourself out there, like that. But really, what have you got to lose but the time it takes to get them listed? Just don't undersell yourself.

Don't undersell yourself! So many times I see wonderful workmanship selling for barely more than the materials on etsy!

Love the colors of your new projects!

that stack is pretty!! I love pink! It is hard to sell stuff that you worked so hard on...I think the same thing with my etsy shop. You feel weird putting your heart out there for people to 'bid' on!! You will do great, your quilts are wonderful!!

What yummy colors you are playing with. Can't wait to see the finished products.
Your quilts are gorgeous--don't be afraid!!

I told my friend about your design quest. She did my blog for me (banner, etc.) and I was happy with the result. :) Perhaps she'll be in touch!
