Foiled again

So, we already know about the snow day on Tuesday.

Wednesday was a two hour delay to the start of school due to icy road conditions.  And my car was in the shop.  Thursday we had to take the desktop computer to the repair shop.  It's still there.  I do all my photo uploads and editing on said desktop.  Hence the grainy photos in this post.

And today, my oldest is home sick.

I think I'm just going to pretend that 2012 starts next week.  'Kay?

And I'll be back then sharing happier news and lots of crafty projects.

Let's hope anyway.

I know. We had thought 2012 was going to be so good. Looking forward to it. My daughter's cat is 14 years old. Took to the vet for what we thought could be cured with medication. Found out she has severe arthritis of the spine and will lose control of her back legs before long. Broke our hearts. Daughter does not have children so this cat is like her child. Other good things will happen in 2012 but after 2011 being such a hard year I really had high hope for 2o12. We are going to take her cat to a holistic vet and see if there is anything that will help make a difference. Bless us all in 2012 and I'm asking God to give us all blessings.

Well, your swoon block is gorgeous. I keep seeing these blocks and each time I think, oh that's my favorite! So as of right now...... Yours is my favorite! I may need to break down and by that pattern one day. Then it will sit there and I'll feel bad that I can't get myself organized enough to make it. Oh dear, I made that all about me.
Hope your Girly feels better soon and that no one else succumbs.

What a rough start to the new year! Your Swoon, however, is a knockout! Hope next week is happier all around!

Hope all is well for you soon. I love that every time I check out your blog, you've got something beautiful that you're creating with your own hands.

Blessings.

Count me in too. I thought January was supposed to be quiet. Hope your kiddo is soon back in the saddle and that your sewing machine is humming along. Mine is collecting dust.

Pesky technology!!! Hope all is better soon.
I only hope mine is homesick when he flys the coop. It makes me sad to think it won't be long.
Your quilt looks gorgeous anyway.
Hope your weekend is brighter!

Hope your oldest feels better soon. I've just been letting things happen when they happen here also. Feels good not to stress about every little plan that doesn't work just right. No headaches. :)
