Right now, I'm . . .

:: thinking about this cutie pie and her late 1800s outfit in preparation for a class field trip.

:: sad that she didn't feel well and ended up not going.

:: delighting in the fact that I got to spend a day with her as a result.

:: wondering how my loved one is in the hospital.

:: feeling a little out of sorts that I'm still not there with him.

:: ready for school to be out for summer.

:: contemplating why each May the last few weeks of school is so agonizing.

:: wishing someone else would come cook supper tonight.

::  missing my regular workouts due to hospital visiting and children being home from field trips.

:: really, really wanting to sew and not knowing when I'll have time . . . and more importantly when my mind won't be going 100 miles an hour and I can actually slow down and sew.  Know what I'm saying?

:: ticking things off the to-do list but still feeling the pressure to complete more.

:: listening to the wind chime on this breezy 70 degree day.

Dana-

If I was closer I would totally come make dinner. I hope everything is okay with the hubs and that you have a wonderful day. Enjoy that extra time with your girl.

Sending you serenity. And hoping that someone hears your supper call.

Try to make some you time in between taking care of everyone else. Failing that, stop and take a deep breath every now and then. Much love!

Hope Cutie Pie is feeling better soon, speedy recovery to Razor and please take 5 just for you :) There's plenty of dinner left over, sadly it won't arrive in time... if only I was closer there'd be plenty to go round :) Take good care of you x

As always, your kid is adorable. Hope your hospital visits end soon and with perfect results. I'm too far away to bring you supper but I would if I could! Try to keep the monkeys in your head from getting the better of you, and remember the power of handsewing. Will be sending Good Thoughts your way.....
