Only two sleeps

It was only two sleeps away but being out there made me feel better than I have in awhile.  Camping always grounds me.  Maybe not while I tried walking the slackline but you know what I mean, right?  Connected.  To my family.  To my friends.  To the earth.  To myself.

It was good.

I thought I saw a slack line back there! My daughter has one set up in our back yard. I love watching her friends balancing...or NOT balancing! ;0

Dd and I go tent camping together, girls-only time in nature, LOVE it! We've seen such beauty together. We are dedicated tree huggers! Mother Nature rocks our world!

Looks awesome. That's the good life, right there.

However, I have never gone shoeless in front of outdoor fire before. Or with bright white socks in the dirt… lol. Is that the secret to keeping them white because my white socks never stay that way and I keep them fairly indoors. Those are seriously bright white socks. :-)

Camping is very calming. At least for me. Gorgeous pictures! I remember driving along the Blue Ridge Parkway when I was little. Awesome!

I know the feeling. I love the Parkway and all the area around it.

Your pictures make me miss Tennessee! We never camped growing up but it is definitely a habit I intend to start with our family. Glad you had such a wonderful weekend!

Good. Taking time to relax, recharge, enjoy the moment is a wonderful thing.

I do that locked inside my hotel room. ;)

Loved the pictures I caught on instagram while I was away. Made me long to sneak out and enjoy the views with you.

I love that feeling! It's so great when you can connect with what fills your soul with contentment and reflection. Looks like a beautiful place to chill and reconnect with yourself, your family and nature.

Wow! I have camped twice in the past month. I love it too! Was that a huge buck in the background of the cow picture?
