Last quilt of 2012 . . . or is it?

It's cold outside which means I want to do nothing but stay in my PJ's and sew all day.  So maybe I'll make another quilt before the close of 2012.  I doubt it though.

One thing I know for sure is how grateful I am that you bother to come here and read my words and share yours with me.  And no matter what you celebrate this time of year, I wish you the merriest of days.

Hug 'em close.  Drink a toast.  Sit and soak it in.

See you in 2013.

P.S.  In January there will be a new quilt along starting over on my quilt along Flickr page found here. The best selling author Amy Ellis of Modern Basics and the soon to be released Modern Basics II will be leading a paper pieced quilt along of this killer quilt.

I plan on making mine a long term project where I make a block here and there as I feel like it.  Hope you say you'll join us!

Beautiful quilt! You are so good at making even the simplest designs look stunning! The QAL looks fun, too. Merry Christmas to all!

Oh, oh. oh! You make such beautiful quilts.

Now you tempt me with another QAL?
Block a month and a QAL? Can I? Should I? Or will my little quilt challenged brain go ack and run for the chicken coop? ;)

Make lovely memories this holiday and laugh often. I plan to do the same after I quilt (or tie?) this quilt that almost got me to stop before I started.

Paper piecing don't mind if I DO:)

It is cold isn't it?! Wish it would snow a little:)

Nice quilt -- so beautiful. Goes well with your stars in the background. They are cute too. QAL sounds fun too.

Oh excitement! I might learn paper piecing! Plus I can cross-pollinate projects with the Seattle Modern Quilt Guild since they are doing a star theme quiltalong (only it isn't as good as yours...).
I've got another quilt up on my blog now too.

Love your quilt! (And now I've got yet ANOTHER reason to get better at paper piecing...)

I always love stopping by to see what you're up to. Lovely patchwork quilt! I love the simplicity and colors. Makes me want to get out my sewing machine again, which has been lonely in the closet lately. Hope you're enjoying the holiday season!

It's a lovely quilt to finish the year, Dana! Although I may have laughed a little when you said it was "cold". But that's probably just the Canadian in me… It's -13F/-25C here. :-)

Have a very Merry Christmas!
