Weekend

This past weekend seemed longer than usual.  Probably because Razor left on Wednesday to race from coast to coast in Florida.  And the girls and I were sick.  But he's home now (and you should see his gnarly feet.  no actually, you shouldn't.  nobody should have to view those pups)  and the girls are at school.

Wood burning these spoons was a welcome distraction amongst it all.  And the girls were fast to get in on the burning.  Something tells me that teachers, mothers, friends and loved ones will be receiving wood burned spoons for the remainder of 2013.

Anyway.  Together and healthy again.  Just as it should be.

Great to hear you're feeling better! And back together again too. Your wood-burned spoons are so beautiful! I've always wanted to try that on something, so I love your idea to do it on wooden spoons. So fun to see your creative adventure.

Glad you are feeling better. Nothing worse especially when you are holding the fort down on your own.

Cute idea with the spoons. Seriously never would have thought of that myself.

Awesome spoons. Evil bug. Hmm, bad bug for finding you.

How tempting you are for a wood burning tool to be mine. Must resist. It would no doubt sit in a cupboard and grow dust bunnies.

Glad you're all feeling better.

sorry you were sick. You're right, I don't want to see hubby's feet. I remember my own after doing 60 mile/3 day walks. Wood burned spoons will make a lovely addition to your talented handmade gift list.

I would never have thought of doing that activity with wooden spoons! Thank you for the gift idea. The kids and I may be trying this for teacher presents come Christmas time. :)

Oh what fun. Those spoons are great. Good luck to your hubby on his race. Us Princesses could use more princes in that race. I'll be running as Snow White and am doing Coast to coast as well.
