A special thank you to each of you and your kind words about my last post. Your words were running through my head as we hiked to the top of a rocky knob over the weekend. Your gracious support and a view from atop were like a balm to my soul.
Sounds like a little piece of heaven, hiking with your family to a vista like this! I have to say I thought about you this weekend too and how beautifully you can articulate your feelings about motherhood, the fears, the doubts, the second guessing. We all feel that way but can't always find a way to share the words so well.
I know your girls will be thrilled to have your blog as a memory of your love for them.
It's always nice to know that you aren't the only Mom out there that goes through all these emotions, thoughts, etc. To know it is all normal is reassuring. :)
Love the picture from your hike! We are anxious to start our hiking season again. We just have to wait a smidge longer.
I think you would find that most mothers spend time wondering and questioning their role and if it is enough. Someone once told me that they believed if their kids were doing the right thing and grew up to be decent people then they had done their job right. I know I spend time wondering if I am preparing my kids adequately for the world...

What an awesomely refreshing view. Reminds me I need to get back into nature.
