Window? Check.

Because you lucky ducks have been following every excruciating detail of our kitchen remodel, I wanted to show our new kitchen window. Lo and behold, I remembered to shoot a before picture.

(**Do not be alarmed. Please remember this is a work in progress. What you see here will not be the final result. Orange, grimy, icky black dried gluey stuff, etc. . . that will all be gone soon. Again, I repeat, do not be alarmed.)

Truman was happy to get in on the love. He saw it as his chance to become an indoor cat. I quickly put an end to their love fest though. Razor and Blade had work to do and sometimes those guys can be slower than government highway workers!

Voila!

Isn't it beautiful? Blade did an outstanding job and I am forever in his debt. After all, not only did he put the new window in but he gave me two new outlets. Outlets people! It's a beautiful thing in a kitchen. I fed him, kept his coffee cup filled to the brim, praised his handiwork and made him a Gooey Butter Cake but still owe him. Thanks dude.

Are those Cooks Essentials pans I see hanging over the window??? You wouldn't be a QVC shopper would you?

I come here for the photos and crafts, I stay for the music! A lot of times I open a special window for your page and just let the music run...

Wonderful!! I need a Blade too! Not many men who appreciate the need for extra outlets are handy enough to install them ;-)

I can't wait to see the finished kitchen! This makes me think of my house, we've fixed ours up, still have stuff to finish. Now my husband wants to dig out the basement and do our attic. Not that I wouldn't want those things done, it's the actual doing it that I must get excited about.
Thanks for your nice comment on my blog, you seem like such a down to earth person, I love that! I love your music on here too! Have a great day!

The window looks great! Your remodel is coming along.

Also, I love the Jason Mraz on your playlist. I may just have to download it myself!

i just watched the clogging vids...i gotta say the little one is the best...she is a natural dancer...what a cutie pie. they all look they are having fun, but there is something about the smallest one, her movements are so free and natural...she really loves this. i love clogging, i dont, not with these barely functioning knees but once upon a time....youth :-)

Man...I agree with sarah and jack...payment made with gooey butter cake? You're from these parts, aren't you!!! If Blade is that big of a fan of GBC, tell him I've got a couple windows that need replacing, and I will match your payment!
