Primed and in the process

It's been primed and painted with one coat of this lovely light aqua color.

I'm gonna have the construction manager (aka Razor) check it out tonight and help me decide if it needs more paint.

Recognize that at all? It's my craft cabinet from before only cut in half. Well, almost half. A little more than half actually.

I hope to be sewing by this weekend.

Just been listening to your sound track and I'm so glad I did. I LOVE the Joshua Radin tracks on there - simply beautiful! Thank you for introducing me to him.
:)

Nice work on the cabinet.

woo hoo!!! nothing like a new space to get crafty in. your space looks to be as tight as mine. i love, love that aqua blue. i've been thinking about it for the kids' room. maybe this spring... can't wait to see your finished creation, and then what you make in that space.

That is awesome! And it is a great aqua color. I'm really jealous right now, I SO NEED my own crafting space.

Awesome! I love the color you have chosen, and I love love love that you have used your craft-cabinet to make this new craft space :)
So beautiful! Remember to take photos when you have "moved in"

Oh, it makes me sad that you cut the cabinet up...but the color is very pretty and I hope it works better for you this way. I am also rearranging my sewing room and DH is designing me a new sewing table....

Oh dana! I love the color! I bought some paint that color for some old chairs that need some sprucing up. I have a feeling we love the same colors. I can't wait to see it when it's done.

looks like it is coming along. we leave for chicago tomarrow and drop tori off a mdw and then turn around and drive back up to da UP. we will be slammed by the time we get home but we can rest on sunday. then i am really really going to try and get some stuff done this next week. my crafting and sewing has been interupted blessedly by tori's visit but i am ready to get back to business

I'm torn.. I feel sad for the cabinet being cut, but on the other hand, it will make for a lovely sewing area.

I'm pining away for a sewing area of my own and I'm eyeing a large corner in the living room-- It's unused right now and I keep thinking it's perfect except for lack of natural light. hmmm..

Looking forward to see the finished space!
