When I see these photos of Razor plowing and tilling the garden I think of that old doughnut commercial. You know the one where the guy shuffles out of the house with his eyelids half open saying, "Time to make the doughnuts."
Time to plant the potatoes.
I love the smell of freshly turned earth.

MMM, me too. We are loving these warmer days and nights. We slept with the windows open the last two nights. I love that cool breeze that makes you snuggle closer to your mate.
Not fair!!! We still have 2 feet of snow on the ground!!!!
Sigh, we arent even close. I'll get my fix through your pictures.
i can smell it now, just looking at your pics.... thanks for the fix.
i miss having enough earth to turn. :-(
I wish. I cannot wait to see some grass. I have at least another 2 months before break up. Thank You for all the great pictures I look forward to seeing your garden.
I'm jealous that you have daffodils already. They aren't quite ready to start blooming here in Indiana, but I can just smell it in the air!
I love the smell of dirt, wet rocks, and freshly cut grass. I know I'm a little strange. Do you have a yummy potato soup recipe to share?
Smells nice :) I'm going to wait a while, still frozen . . . at least the foot they were forecasting was only 4"!
Spring! :) Love it, love it, love it!
Here, in The Land Down Under, I'm loving the change from Summer to Autumn. The cool weather is delicious!
Your photos, as ever, are beautiful.
Oh, I can just smell it! Mmmm. And yes, dear Dana, is there anyway we can swing being neighbors? We would love it as well.
I got my box of "scraps" aka "warm, wonderful, great smelling fabric from the realm of the glorious quilter paradise!" I am so excited and the ideas won;t stop popping into my head in the middle of the night!!! Thank you again and again and again...
I love your sense of humor... and your music. Your playlist continues to be my making dinner music. Thank you! We planted our potatoes too! I just got some more today for another row. Our bees are going crazy. Don't you love bein your rural sweet self in this crazy world? Every time I get anxious about the state of things, I think about what I need to plant.
you are so lucky to start you garden already. althou it was sunny all day it barely got to 10. am hoping for a better spring and for a summer this year. the gas company destroyed a huge chunk of my front yard and am hoping they will return in the spring and resod. they destroyed about a third of my fairy circle and that is a lost cause. i guess we will have to dig up the whole thing and redo. at least there is not the smell of natural gas in the air any more...that sucker leaked for 3 yeas before they finally fixed!
